Using a single case design, three sessions (early, middle and late) of the complete sixteen session treatment were analyzed and categorized by independent raters in order to establish the exact pattern of interventions in STDP. Results showed that the counsellor response modes used across the three sessions were predominantly information seeking, providing information, interpretation and confrontation, respectively, accounting for 93.6% of all responses.
