dc.descriptionCommunication between doctor and patient constitutes a major part of medical care, and its effectiveness has been associated with beneficial patient outcomes.The present investigation is concerned with patient satisfaction with the medical consultation, and our main objective was to examine the extent to which doctors’ communicative behaviours and patients’ characteristics predict satisfaction with the clinical encounter in a university general practice.
